With IPS technology both the target and the measurement results can be seen very clearly on the large display. For maximum accuracy, the measurement can be triggered by gestures, which is a distinct advantage, especially over long distances. High flexibility is offered by various functions, such as Smart Horizontal Mode, height tracking, profile or angle measurements. This means that any measurement situation on the construction site can be solved quickly and efficiently. The data can then be transferred to the DISTO Plan app or individual templates, e.g. in Excel, and processed further to support an efficient and error-free digital workflow.
Interior and Exterior Use
Indoors or generally in favourable lightning conditions, the red laser dot is very clearly visible so that the object can be easily targeted. In bright outdoor areas, however, or even in bright sunlight, the laser dot is no longer visible. The laser measure can still measure without any problems. To aim however, you now need the Pointfinder – a camera that shows you the target exactly in the crosshairs on the crystal-clear display with IPS technology.
Precision without compromise
The contactless triggering of measurements ensures precision without compromise and solves a well-known problem, namely that the laser measure may move slightly when the measurement button is pressed, therefore no longer hitting the centre of the measured target. For contactless measurement, simply move your hand briefly through the laser beam to trigger the measurement.
Directly Transfer Measured Results Digitally
With the keyboard mode, measured results can be transferred via Bluetooth directly e.g. into a predefined Excel spreadsheet. The DISTO sends the measured results to the currently selected cell. The keyboard mode can also be used for other tasks such as documenting a height profile or filling out a form for the window installer, including online web forms.
